Video Dear Colleague in Support of H.R. 503, the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act

Representative Jan Schakowsky (D-IL) and Representative Ed Whitfield (R-KY) released the following YouTube video on H.R. 503, the American Horse Slaughter Prevention Act as a Dear Colleague (a letter from one or more Members of Congress to all other Members of Congress) urging support for their bill.  The video was produced by the Animal Welfare Institute and Animals' Angels USA using footage from Animals' Angels USA and Humane Farming Association and may have been the first time a video Dear Colleague was used in the US Congress.
