Check out The Meatrix, www.awionline.org/farm/news.htm, a 4-minute animated movie that spoofs The Matrix films and highlights the problems of factory farming.

A contest based on The Meatrix is underway! Teachers for grades 5-8 are invited to submit a lesson plan related to sustainable food production systems that are healthful, humane, economically viable and ecologically sound.  Grand prize is $1000.
